Providing Speech Therapy to Children and Adults
with Down Syndrome in Galway City and County
The annual running costs of the project for 2010 is projected as €200k. As we receive NO state or institutional funding this will have to be achieved entirely through charitable donations and fundraising by the Voices for Galway.
With the credit crunch and recession in our mindset we will need to work harder as a group to raise these funds. It is therefore more important than ever that all parents and families row in behind the charity and play an active role in fundraising. Even those who do not like being in the front line no doubt know some family member or friends who would be happy to help. We will keep you all updated on what fundraising events are coming up and all volunteers are always very welcome
