Voices for Down Syndrome Galway is the Speech and Language Therapy side of the Galway Branch of Down Syndrome Irl and was established in 2005 by a group of parents of children with Down Syndrome. The mission of our organisation remains true to its initial objective - the provision of Speech and Language Therapy for children and adults in Galway city and county with Down Syndrome.

Meet the Committee

The Committee of Voices for Down Syndrome Galway is comprised of eight parents of children with Down Syndrome. Jointly and through the support of families, community groups and corporate supporters, the Committee of Voices for Down Syndrome Galway raises the entire running costs of the project through fundraising as the project recieves no funding from the State or its agencies.

Meet the Therapists

The Voices for Down Syndrome Galway is based in the Dept of Speech and Language Therapy, NUI Galway, where we currently employ two Senior Speech and Language Therapists - Margaret Farrell and most recently Kelly Fallon.
